Group Sessions
Every day at Cherish we have group sessions. Please join us for any of these sessions.
Every weekday at 1pm we have a lunchtime meditation, and some evenings we have 5:30 sessions to wind down the work day. There are also other group sessions and workshops happening from time to time. See the calendar on the home page for details of these.
1pm Sessions
From 1-1:30 every weekday we offer a relaxing meditative session. This is something that may be of support for you during your lunch break for work. Afterwards we often have a cup of tea together, you are most welcome.

Monday
Self Compassion Meditation with Detta
This 30-minute meditation session is designed to encourage you to treat yourself with kindness, care and understanding – to give yourself compassion.
Research has shown that practising self-compassion helps reduce anxiety, depression, and stress, thereby increasing one’s happiness.
This meditation technique is based on the work of Dr Kristin Neff and Dr Chris Germer – the world’s foremost experts on self-compassion.
Tuesday
Moving Meditation with Sheila
A moving meditation session combining gentle movements, breath work, postural alignment and mindful awareness . This half hour session offers a holistic approach to improving physical, mental, and emotional well-being, fostering a sense of harmony and balance within oneself and with the world around us.
Perfect for busy people to reenergise.
Wednesday
Sound, Song and Silence with Christopher & Lee
We begin with healing sounds then move into simple soulful songs followed by delicious silence and meditation.
All welcome, no singing experience required and you do not have to sing. You may wish to simply relax into the sound of the group.
Our own or other’s gentle voices can be one of the most soothing nurturing sounds for our nervous system. Humming etc is known to calm the vagus nerve and therefore our whole being.
Thursday
Breath of Light meditation with Joanna
A gentle breathing meditation that everyone can participate in.
This is a Buddhist and Reiki practice to strengthen your connection with your true self, your own inner bright light, and through this your true light will naturally shine brighter.
Guided by Joanna Wildish, Reiki Master and Reiki practitioner, join us every Thursday at 1pm for this reflective and healing session.
Friday
Connection & Awareness meditation with Margaux
Connection and awareness meditation is a brief practice that focuses on cultivating a deep sense of presence and interconnectedness. Through mindful breathing, visualisation and observation, individuals aim to enhance self-awareness and foster a stronger connection with themselves, others, and the surrounding environment.
5:30pm Sessions
From 5:30 – 6:00pm Monday – Thursday we offer various meditation session. This offering is to support you to wind down from the work day, or perhaps as a way to settle in for an evening session.
