About

The Aspiration

Cherish is a sanctuary in the heart of the city. A place where everyone is welcome.

We are a community united by a shared aspiration to support anyone and everyone to live well.

We represent a diverse range of pathways and modalities, all pointing in the direction of how to live in this world with more kindness, interest, patience, and love.

You can come for a meditation session, a class, or to receive specific support and therapies.
You are also welcome to drop-in anytime and enjoy the use of our quiet meditation space, or have a cup of tea in our lounge and library.

Cherish is driven by two core statements

City life can be busy. It is easy to get caught up in the momentum of our lives that we rarely find moments to stop, rest, and reflect.

Cherish is a space where you know that you can come and press pause. Not only that, you will also have access to resources that support you to be able to pause and rest well.

Come to Cherish to feel home and to find home.
To feel home in this space and with this community, but also to find home within yourself, and to feel resourced to carry that sense of home with you into the world.

All of us want to contribute to bringing forth a better world. But when life feels overwhelming or fragmented, even getting through the day can feel like all we can manage.

Cherish exists to support people in the profound work of healing. As we grow in love and compassion, we begin to see the world differently.  In this process of softening and opening, we begin to discover what we have to offer, something only we can bring.

Our healing is the world healing.
Our process of living well is our contribution.

How to get involved

There are many ways to get involved at Cherish, and it usually begins with a cup of tea.

If you can, please join us at one of our 1pm meditations, and then stick around afterwards for a cuppa and a chat.
Or you can contact us to make a time to come in and meet us.

Whether you’re looking for connection, have something you’d like to offer, or are working on something aligned in the wider community, we’d love to hear from you.
